Plan of Salvation

God Loves You!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
(John 3:16)

Because of our sin, we are separated from God.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
(Romans 3:23)

The Penalty for our sin is death.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.
(Romans 6:23)

The penalty for our sin was paid by Jesus Christ!

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(Romans 5:8)

If we repent of our sin, then confess and trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will be saved from our sins!

if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(Romans 10:9,10)

For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
(Romans 10:13)

A Lesson In faith

Matthew 14:22-33

1. The First Lesson Is The Invitation Of Faith.

“And Peter answered Him and said, ‘Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.’ So He said, ‘Come.’ And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.”
Matthew 14:28-29 (NKJ)

2. Lesson Two Is The Adventure Of Faith.

“So He said, ‘Come.’ And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.”
Matthew 14:9 (NKJ)

“But someone will say, ‘You have faith, and I have works.’ Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”
James 2:18 (NKJ)

3. The Next Lesson Is That There Are Adversaries To Our Faith.

“But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, ‘Lord, save me!’”
Matthew 14:30 (NKJ)

4. The Final Lesson Is The Resource Of Faith.

"And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, ‘O you of little faith, why did you doubt?’ And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.”
Matthew 14:31-32 (NKJ)

“For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’”
Hebrews 13:5 (NKJ)

“For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
