Plan of Salvation

God Loves You!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
(John 3:16)

Because of our sin, we are separated from God.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
(Romans 3:23)

The Penalty for our sin is death.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.
(Romans 6:23)

The penalty for our sin was paid by Jesus Christ!

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(Romans 5:8)

If we repent of our sin, then confess and trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will be saved from our sins!

if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(Romans 10:9,10)

For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
(Romans 10:13)

Closing The Door On 2018

Exodus 14:10-20

1. Some Of Our Greatest Enemies Aren’t Those That Confront Us, But Those That Pursue Us.

“And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord.”
Exodus 14:10 (NKJ)

2. God Not Only Goes Before Us, He Is Also Our Rear Guard.

“And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them.”
Exodus 14:19 (NKJ)

“You go before me and follow me. You place Your hand of blessing on my head.”
Psalm 139:5 (NLT)

“For you shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight; For the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.”
Isaiah 52:12 (NKJ)

3. Every Experience In Life Has A Double Meaning Depending On To Whom The Experience Comes.

“So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night.”
Exodus 14:20 (NKJ)

“Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.”
2 Corinthians 4:14 (NIV)

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”
1 Corinthians 1:18 (NKJ)
