Plan of Salvation

God Loves You!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
(John 3:16)

Because of our sin, we are separated from God.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
(Romans 3:23)

The Penalty for our sin is death.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.
(Romans 6:23)

The penalty for our sin was paid by Jesus Christ!

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(Romans 5:8)

If we repent of our sin, then confess and trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will be saved from our sins!

if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(Romans 10:9,10)

For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
(Romans 10:13)

The Holy Spirit Is God

John 16:5-15

1. The Holy Spirit Is A Real, Personal Presence.

“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— “
John 14:16 (NKJ)

2. The Holy Spirit Is A Great Teacher

“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”
John 16:12-13 (NKJ)

“Jesus replied, ‘Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.’”
Matthew 16:17 (NIV)

3. The Holy Spirit Is Our Guide Through Life.

“And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.”
John 16:8-11 (NKJ)

“What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, ‘You shall not covet.’”
Romans 7:7 (NKJ)

“But when the Father sends the Comforter instead of Me*—and by the Comforter I mean the Holy Spirit—He will teach you much, as well as remind you of everything I Myself have told you.”
John 14:26 (TLB)

4. The Holy Spirit Is The Source Of Our Power.

“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”
John 16:12-13 (NKJ)
