Sermon On The Mount
Two Roads – Two Destinations

Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJ)

1. Jesus Demands That We Make A Decision.

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.”
Matthew 7:13 (NKJ)

“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:9 (NKJ)

“So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.”
Romans 14:12 (NIV)

2. Every Person Must Choose That We Make A Decision.

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJ)

“Hear what God says: ‘When the time came for Me to show you favor, I heard you when the day arrived for Me to save you, I helped you.’ Listen! This is the hour to receive God's favor; today is the day to be saved!”
2 Corinthians 6:2 (GNT)

3. To Get On The Narrow Road Take The First Turn To The

Right.

“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.”
Luke 13:24 (NIV)

“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord…”
Jeremiah 29:13-14 (NKJ)

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father.’”
Romans 8:14-15 (NKJ)
