What Are You Giving For Christmas?

Matthew 2:1-15

1. You Can Give The Gift Of Love.

“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.’”
Matthew 22:37-40 (NKJ)

The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:9 (NIV)

2. You Can Give The Gift Of Forgiveness.

“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”
Matthew 6:12 (NKJ)

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Matthew 6:14-15 (NKJ)

3. You Can Give The Gift Of Example.

1 Peter 2:21 (NIV)

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
1 Timothy 4:12 (NKJ)

4. You Can Give The Gift Of The Gospel To A Hungry Soul.

“Then the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
